Description
Deep space strike destroyer (DSSD) class US space warship. Full view from the front. First vessel commissioned in 2118.
This warship is capable of atmospheric and space flight; note the prominent heat shielding on the bottom of the vessel. During long term spaceflight rotating sections extend to provide gravity to the crew. On it's engines (a future incarnation of today's VASIMR technology), the DSSD18 class vessel can accelerate to .75c (75% light speed).
